We flew in from NY, they from Nashville. We took a limo from the airport to our B&B: the Block Keller House. We decided we wanted to stay outside of the French Quarter in a real neighborhood. This placed looked good on the web. It was! Two guys bought an old NOLA mansion in dilapidated condition and took 2 years to renovate it. They did it with immaculate sense of style. Highly recommended. The bus to downtown stopped right out front. Too bad, but next month (December 2003) the new Canal Street streetcar begins service.
